This project consists of two photographs. Both illustrate an internal conflict occurring within the subject. The work portrays a woman who settles for a romantic relationship that nearly meets her needs, yet past wounds of rejection and fear of abandonment keep her from leaving it.
Although the relationship may appear perfect from the outside, it is emotionally draining and demands more from her than it gives.
